HALLOWEEN
EVE... The costumed
AIFF movie-goers wait nervously,
And shiver in fun as the palace doors creaks open.
On lookers
watch as witches, ghosts and ghouls march past,
bags of sweet popcorn and bowls of treats are
Held forth offerings terror delights.
A noise, a thump, the light goes
out,
Out of Our Minds Studios gives all a Joy Ride
Duncan Macgregor chills to the
bone
To think such undead haunts the night.
Then squeals and giggles,
A gibbering Dear Sweet, Emma! It was almost a rout.
I‘m Charlie Chaplin delights
like child glee.
High spirits hover from here to there with I Like It A Lot.
Local spectres join the event,
barking dogs and little girl cries --
as Art Steinig tells Ghost Tales.
Thoughts quiver
where shadows lurk with
Burt and Linda's strange Crazy Love.
In masks and
gowns
they haunt the stage
Which one will roam the night?
Could it be
the infamous
Joyce "James" aka Jones and Mrs. Bean?
