| Films may be submitted to the AIFF in two ways: | ||||||||||

| Send (1) your film
in DVD format along with the film

| If your film is selected, you will be asked to provide additional press materials. | ||||||||||
| Submission of your film indicates your agreement to the rules stated herein. | ||||||||||

| Films from around the world are welcome at the Amelia Island Film Festival. However, all films that are produced in whole or in part in the great state of Florida are considered Florida films and are eligible for special recognition and award. For consideration as a Florida film, you must indicate whether your film was shot or edited in Florida, and if so, what location and/ or facility. | ||||||||||
| More than one entry may be submitted. Each entry must be accompanied by a separate entry form and entry fee. | ||||||||||
| If your film is selected, you will be asked to provide: headshot and filmography of director, B&W and/or color stills from the film, press materials, video trailer (if available). | ||||||||||
| Preview DVDs must be labeled with the title, running time, and contact information on face and spine of tape. When submitting film, include the film ID# on package and on disc. | ||||||||||
| Please do not send originals. If your film is not selected, it will not be returned to you. | ||||||||||
| All film entries selected for the festival grant Amelia Island Film Festival the rights to use footage, stills, titles and information from the film, writer, director, actors and producer(s) for promotional purposes. | ||||||||||

| Florida & Georgia Special
Interest (FLGA) Submissions to the Florida & Georgia Special Interest category should either be about Florida and/or Georgia AND/OR shot in Florida and/or Georgia. Please indicate on submission form why your film qualifies to be submitted to this category. Films from around the world are welcome at the Amelia Island Film Festival. However, all films that are produced in whole or in part in the great state of Florida are considered Florida films and are eligible for special recognition and award. For consideration as a Florida film, you must indicate whether your film was shot or edited in Florida, and if so, what location and/ or facility. |

| Amelia Island's Home Video
(AIV) Submissions to the Amelia Island's Home Video category should be about and/or shot on Amelia Island. We will accept a wide array of forms and genres for this category; it can range from a professionally crafted film all the way to unedited home video footage - just as long as it is about Amelia Island! Films from around the world are welcome at the Amelia Island Film Festival. However, all films that are produced in whole or in part in the great state of Florida are considered Florida films and are eligible for special recognition and award. For consideration as a Florida film, you must indicate whether your film was shot or edited in Florida, and if so, what location and/ or facility. |

| Amelia Island Film Festival is
hereby granted the right to utilize an excerpt from any film
submitted and accepted for exhibition at the Festival for
promotional purposes. The individual or corporation submitting the film hereby warrants that it is authorized to commit the film for screening, and understands and accepts these requirements and regulations. The undersigned shall indemnify and hold harmless Amelia Island Film Festival from and against any and all claims, liabilities, losses, damages, and expenses (including but not limited to attorney's fees, and costs of the court) which may be incurred by reason of any claim involving copyright, trademark, credits, publicity, screening, and loss of or damage to the screening videos entered. |
